Familial Dysautonomia NOW Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer doors are always open.

Do you have a child on the eve of a bat/bar mitzvah looking for a mitzvah project?  Let FD NOW help jump-start a volunteer project.

Do you have a high-school student interested in contributing community service hours? Let FD NOW put them to work! Several compassionate students currently work in the FD NOW office, completing a variety of administrative jobs.

To ensure that teen volunteers find gratifying meaning in their work, we spend time educating them about FD and then relate how their tasks directly benefit those with FD.

Adult volunteers are welcome, too. We have an extra chair for those with a few hours to spare and a special talent to share!

Volunteer requirements: positive attitude, genuine desire to learn and help, and a sense of humor.
